Two-Day Workshop of Creative Exploration, Self Discovery and Intuitive Healing (3.5–4 hours per day) at Moose Hall in Bella Coola, BC, 272 Mackenzie St Bella Coola, BC, May 24 - 25, 2025 $125 for both days. Lunch and Refreshments are included.
Day 1 will be about Descent & Discovery, exploring our archetypes, inner guides, and the divine feminine. Guys, you still have a Divine Feminine, so don't let this make you afraid to be involved! It's just a New Age way to talk about our Inner Mother.
The goal of day 1 will be to Journey inward and gather symbolic material for visual expression

We'll set intentions for what we wish this workshop to teach us, either privately in writing, or to the group, however you'd like.
2. Archetypes & the Creative Feminine

I'll talk about the meaning of our archetypes, how they can support us in daily life, what it means to journey to meet or guides, and how the divine feminine appears in intuitive work.

Yoga with Ash! Yoga helps us relax the body and mind and will help us get into a more childlike state before we journey and EAT.

Next is lunch and then:
3. Guided Journey to the Lower World
-
We'll settle in after lunch and I'm going to invite us all to get relaxed with our yoga mat, pillow and blanket. From there, I'll guide you through a little visualization to imagine your helping spirits, animals or guides. Afterward, we'll journal and draw whatever appeared to us in that visualization. I'm going to provide magazines from which you may feel free to cut out images or text that resonates with your journey. I'll also have a Pinterest board available with images to share which may be relevant, from which to draw inspiration.
4. Sketching Symbols & First Impressions

We'll spend about an hour sketching, and exploring the reference material and then share our journeys, if that's something you're comfortable with.
5. Closing Grounding Circle

We'll have a closing circle to thank our guides and then the rest of the time is up to you. Visit, share, work more on your sketches, or leave. I'll put on some music and we can even move if that feels right.
Day 2 will be spent making a finished painting of the distillation of our journey and interpreting what it means to us.
The theme of day 2 will be to integrate and understand the message by translating our journey into visual form and then using our own intuition or doing a bit of internet research on the images that came to us using our archetypes as inspiration, to decode it's personal meaning.
1. We'll have an Opening Circle + Check-In where we do a brief grounding exercise and then we can share any dreams, insights or emotions that came up overnight.
2. We'll begin painting a more polished version of yesterday's sketches or collages.

Spirit Animal and Soul Portraits
I have recently become passionate about helping people reconnect to nature and the spirit world through my artwork.
Personalized paintings aim to make the special connection each person has with their unseen helpers and guides more visible.
They are powerful reminders of our own inner strength and wisdom and can give us courage and faith for our everyday challenges.
For some people the painting might also serve as a visible memory of a dream journey or vision.
These unique artworks can include a portrait of oneself (if desired) combined with spirit animals, certain plants, stones or even certain symbols that have a special meaning for you.
I also offer portraits of only your spirit animal and or plant.
How does it work?
To begin with, we will have a little interview together, either in person or via video chat/phone.
It is important for me to know what is important to you. So I want to take the time to talk to you and find out more about you and simply just feel what there is.
If you are coming for an Interview at my Studio I will take some photos of you (your face) to use later on as a reference when I am painting. If we can not meet in person, you can simply just send me some photos of yourself which I can use for painting the portrait.
Once I have all the necessary information, the magic can happen…
~What if I don’t know my Spirit Animal?
Knowing your spirit guide is not a necessity.
If there is any animal/- or plant that you feel a strong or special connection to I can create a painting for you.
It is important to me to create something that gives you strength and joy in your daily life and which reminds you that you are always guided and protected.
I also love to paint intuitive portraits with the animals (and possible plants) that I see/feel around you.
